Jess Baldenhofer, MSEd

Educator & Certified Parent Coach

Helping parents build calmer, more connected relationships with their children—without becoming someone they're not.

My Story

For nearly twenty years, I worked in museum education, helping people connect more deeply with art through curiosity, observation, and meaningful conversation. I never imagined those same principles would become the foundation of my work as a parent coach. Then I became a mother.

Like so many parents, I quickly realized that parenting isn't something you master with the right advice or the perfect script. It's a relationship—one that asks us to understand our children, ourselves, and the patterns we bring into family life.

That realization led me to become a Certified Parent Coach through the Jai Institute for Parenting and to found Mother Nurture Coaching.

Today, I combine my background in education, child development, and coaching to help parents move beyond behavior management and toward deeper understanding. My goal isn't to help you become a perfect parent. It's to help you become a more confident, connected one.

How I Work

Every family is unique, so my coaching is never one-size-fits-all. Together, we'll build a deeper understanding of your child, strengthen your relationship through connection and clear boundaries, and create practical tools and personalized plans that support your family both now and in the years ahead.

Along the way, we'll also focus on you—developing the self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence that make intentional parenting possible. My goal isn't just to solve today's challenge, but to help you become the parent you want to be, feel empowered and confident in your parenting.

What I Believe

My work begins with deep respect—for childhood, for parenthood, and for the relationship between them.

Children are whole people. They deserve to be understood, guided with compassion, and given the space to grow into who they are. I believe the parent-child relationship is where children first learn trust, boundaries, communication, repair, and love.

Parents deserve that same respect. Raising children is some of the most important work we do, yet many of us are expected to do it with far too little support. When parents feel more grounded, compassionate toward themselves, and equipped to advocate for their families, everyone benefits.
